Ask the assistant to move a lesson or block an afternoon. It does it, shows who it affects, and lets you undo.
How it went, what was paid, and the practice notes your student sees, all in one place.
iPhone and Android, included. Your students book, pay and see their notes from their phone.
Payments land in your own Stripe account. We never hold it and never take a cut.
When a student or parent answers your email, it’s saved on their record, so nothing gets lost in your inbox.
Upload the spreadsheet from your old software. The columns are matched for you, even when the file is messy.
Pricing questions
What happens when my trial ends?
Nothing you’ve built goes anywhere. If you don’t pick a plan, your studio moves to the Solo plan: one teacher, unlimited students, scheduling, payments, invoices and the app. Solo studios are always free. If other teachers are teaching with you, choose Ensemble and they keep going without a pause. If you don’t, their lessons keep running for 30 days while you decide, and nobody is removed.
What does Ensemble add?
A login for every teacher. Each one runs their own schedule, students and pay from the app, and you see the whole studio in one place. Everything in Encore comes with it, and your texts, outreach email and AI assistant use grow with every teacher you add. Each teacher after the first is $5 a month, and the bill stops at $49.
I teach alone. Why would I upgrade?
Because Encore covers the part of the job that brings in students and keeps them. Tell the AI assistant what to change and it does the admin. Fill open spots by emailing the people who already know you. Run your recital and your summer program at the same time. Reach every student by text, not just the ones who read email. It’s $10 a month, and you can cancel any time.
My teachers take summers off. Do I pay for them?
Not while they’re away. Deactivate a teacher for the season and they stop counting toward your bill. Their students, lessons and pay history stay put, and you can reactivate them the day they’re back. (On break is for a short pause: the teacher keeps their login and booked lessons, so they still count toward your plan.)
Can I use Clefsy outside the US?
Yes. Studios anywhere can sign up and run their studio on the free Solo plan, with prices and card payments in their own currency, and any time zone. Paid plans and the free trial are for studios in the US and Canada, except Quebec, for now. Text messages reach US and Canadian numbers; everyone else gets email and app notifications.
What does it cost to take payments?
Only Stripe’s standard card fees, paid to Stripe, not us. You can pass the fee to your students or absorb it yourself. Money goes straight to your own Stripe account. We never hold it, and we never take a percentage.
Set your studio up before you pay a thing.
Import your students and build your week. If you teach on your own, there's no bill at the end either.
